Welcome to Scarborough Osteopathy

About Scarborough Osteopathy

At Scarborough Osteopathy we offer a patient-centred approach to healthcare, focusing on how the skeleton, joints, muscles, circulation, connective tissue and internal organs function together smoothly as a unit. We recognise the important link between the structure of the body and the way it functions.

Our practitioners approach treatment by incorporating a range of osteopathic techniques, direct hands-on treatment, dry needling, and specific rehabilitation advice.

Any treatment will, of course, be fully explained, discussed and agreed with the patient before starting any procedure.

Your Local, Dedicated Osteopaths

Dr. Elizabeth Jury

M.Ost

Originally from England, Liz graduated with a Master’s degree from The British School of Osteopathy, widely recognised as the leading provider of osteopathic education in Europe. She worked for several years in central London before moving to Perth in 2014 seeking a warmer climate.

When not treating patients, Liz embraces a fit and active lifestyle; her passions include kitesurfing, swimming, SUPing, pilates, running and free diving. Consequently, she absolutely understands the importance of enabling patients to return to the hobbies they love and to help them heal any injuries as quickly as possible. She achieves this through a range of osteopathic techniques, direct hands-on treatment and specific rehabilitation advice.

Liz is also fully qualified and experienced in dry-needling, K-tape strapping and visceral manipulation. Additionally, she is qualified in trauma-informed care, and enjoys treating pregnant women.

Dr Alex Mann

BHSc, BAppSc (Osteopathy)

Originally from Melbourne, Alex qualified as an Osteopath from RMIT. His passion for healthcare began in early adulthood after sustaining sports injuries and experiencing the benefits of osteopathy first hand.

Coming from a clinic in Croydon, Alex relocated to sunny Perth in 2023, where he finds himself enjoying helping active locals, living on the coast, of all ages and backgrounds. Alex is dedicated to working with patients to create individual, goal oriented treatment plans that enable them to return to their favourite activities pain free. This is achieved through a broad range of hands-on treatment techniques, dry needling, and patient-specific exercise prescriptions. Whilst Alex likes to treat a wide range of conditions, he has a special interest in managing lower back pain, neck pain, and acute injuries.

Outside of the clinic, Alex loves the outdoors. He can often be found at the beach, on the golf course, or travelling up and down the coast in search of great camping spots!

Dr. Madison Pappa

BHSc, BAppSc (Osteopathy)

Originally from Melbourne, Madi’s background in competing in gymnastics and dance, coupled with a significant injury and subsequent treatment and rehabilitation, sparked her interest in the body’s mechanics. This interest led her to qualify as an Osteopath from RMIT.

Additionally, Madi’s coaching and judging experience in WAG gymnastics has uniquely positioned her as an Osteopath well-versed in designing tailored treatment programs that enable patients to continue with their chosen sport. She achieves this through hands-on treatment, goal setting, individual exercise prescription, and management strategies.

Madi’s specialised training in various techniques, including myofascial cupping, dry needling, and Pilates, further enhances her ability to provide comprehensive care, particularly for headaches, sports injuries, and lumbopelvic stability issues.
